I am Jerry Alan Branson, your Republican Candidate for the Guilford County Board of Commissioners District 4. I am a life long resident of Guilford County. I have been married for 22 years to Rhonda Stout Branson. We have a fourteen year old daughter and a nine year old son. They are both students in the Guilford County School District. I am a 1985 graduate of Southeast Guilford High School.
I am a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where I have served on the Board of Trustees, the Building Committee, the Church Council, and the Worship Committee. I have been a member of the Guilford County Parks and Recreation Board since 2004. I have been involved with the Woody Mill Road/Liberty Road Vicinity Zoning Overlay. I have done mission work through the United Methodist Church. The last three years I have helped to construct two churches in Guatemala. I have been the Children's League Director for the Mt. Hope Athletic Association in Whitsett.
I have worked in our family's business, Stout Trucking, Inc since 1995. It was established in 1946 and employees 42 people. We serve North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
I will bring to the Board of Commissioners conservative leadership with strong family values and common sense. I will listen to the concerns of the Guilford County Citizens to make better choices for all.
